Our farming adventure started in 2017 with the purchase of our small 6-acre farm. We started out with half a dozen ducklings and the purchase of five lambs. We then made space for one more recruit, our guardian dog Angie. She protects the farm, tolerates the sheep, loves baby lambs, and enjoys free play time with our two basset hounds.

When we first purchased the land we had inherited a run down hay field, some forested land, and an old farmhouse. We are slowly and carefully building our farm, one fence post at a time.

Through our journey, we are building better systems and learning about regenerative agriculture. Today we practice rotational grazing, bale grazing, and winter stockpiling. Our sheep even mow our lawn! We have an Environmental Farm Plan and are currently building a pollinator garden.
